Having raisied two boys living on Black Creek I truely appreciate my own backyard. Enoying life could be hanging out at dock listening to nothing but nature, Fishing on Black Creek, fellowship with family/friends for a cookout or oyster roast.or watching football . A summer day at the beach is one of the most relaxing things I can think of, sitting by the ocean or hunting seashells.St. Augustine is one my favorite places to spend the day taking pictures,eating seafood or just hanging out. I am an active member of Middleburg United Methodist Church. I enjoy devoting my time serving the Lord through helping with on going projects.

It is said that Middleburg is one of the oldest settlements in the state of Florida. The unincorporated community of Middleburg lies in the vicinity of Black Creek, a tributary of the St. Johns River in Clay County. During the early 1800s this community served as a port of entry for the Florida interior. Settlers developed cotton and tobacco in addition to harvesting timber. Middleburg served as a junction point between Jacksonville and St. Augustine enabling the town to thrive. 
Today Middleburg is a growing community dedicated to preserving its historical past while building for the future. Middleburg enjoys strong support from the Clay County Chamber of Commerce and a healthy business climate.
